Stio, a Wyoming-based outdoor apparel brand with deep connections to nature, recently unveiled a new adventure / casual wear line. Tasked with showing off the versatility of their products, I orchestrated this shoot around the idea of it being "attire built for those taking the road less traveled." In contrast to many apparel shoots (shot straight-on in a white studio), the goal was to curate a unique collection of photos that mirror the eco-consious, exploratory ethos of Stio. Clad in their orange "shacket," the subject skateboards, hikes, climbs, and photographs the epic scenery around him. Whether bushwhacking through a dense grass or trodding on a weathered cliffside, Stio keeps the subject comfortable and protected from the elements around him.
